Class Syllabus:

Required Supplies:
  • 100-page minimum spiral-bound notebook with pockets to hold handouts (or have a folder for handouts)
  • Pencils and erasers
  • Glue Sticks
  • CHCCS-issued Chrome Book (fully charged)
Recommended Supplies:
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Calculator (minimal function calculators will be available in the classroom)
Cell Phone Policy:
Using cell phones during class time to check social media and/or text friends is a distraction to the learning of both the individual student and the class as a whole. I encourage students to become independent of their cell phone and social media.
  • During class, cell phones must be turned off and stored in the classroom cellphone box.
  • If a student has a cellphone out during class time it will be taken until the end of class (1st time), the end of the school day (2nd time), or will be delivered to an administrator (3rd and all subsequent times).
  • During tests, cell phones must be turned off and stored in the classroom cellphone box. Cell phones will remain away until EVERYONE has completed the test.
